Friend & Invitation Data (Invite Codes): To enable friend adding and invitation features, we may process invitation codes generated by users and records of friend relationship status (e.g., invited, accepted, removed). This data is used solely to support connecting with friends through invitation codes and related app functionality.
Location Information: We may collect real-time geolocation data (via GPS) to enable location sharing and related features, including displaying your location on the map, sharing with approved friends, and triggering location-based notifications (e.g., when a friend starts/stops sharing, or a friend leaves). You can manage or disable this data collection in your device’s privacy settings.
Notification & Interaction Data: We may process system message events and delivery status (e.g., one-click predefined notifications, friend status change alerts, and other system notifications) to ensure proper delivery, improve reliability, and support core functionality.
Optional Information Processing: When you use certain optional features, LoveTracker may temporarily process limited information that you choose to enter in order to complete the feature request and improve usability. This information is not used for real-time tracking or precise location identification.
Device Information: We gather technical information, including device type, operating system version, app version, and similar diagnostic information to ensure optimal app functionality and security.
Usage Data: This includes information about how you interact with the app, such as features accessed (e.g., invite flow, map view, screenshot, one-click notifications), usage frequency, and other user activities that help us enhance the service.

How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used to provide, personalize, and improve your experience with the LoveTracker app. Specifically, we use your data for:

Enabling core functionalities such as connecting with friends via invitation codes and sharing your location with approved friends.
Providing map-based features, including showing your location and your approved friends’ shared locations.
Sending important notifications and updates, such as friend invitation status, friend location sharing status (start/stop), friend leaving reminders, and one-click predefined notifications.
Analyzing app usage and performance to enhance our features and services.
Ensuring the security and functionality of the app by addressing technical issues and preventing misuse.

Map Screenshots and Content Sharing

LoveTracker provides a screenshot feature that can generate a map image showing your location and the locations of all approved friends who are currently sharing with you. This screenshot is generated only when you actively tap the screenshot button.

Important: If you share a screenshot outside the app (e.g., via social media, messaging apps, or other third-party platforms), LoveTracker can no longer control how that content is used, stored, or redistributed by others. Please ensure you have appropriate permission and consent before sharing content that may include other users’ location information.

Your Rights Over Your Data

You have the right to access, update, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at lovetracker-ios@outlook.com. Additionally, you can manage or revoke certain permissions (such as location or notification access) directly through your device settings.

If you decide to delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our system, unless retention is necessary for legal or regulatory purposes.
